I'm starting to stock Warwick bass strings again!

It's been years since I've been involved with Warwick. Once upon a time - and for a very brief time - I was the #1 Warwick dealer in the US. I sold lots of their basses prior to 2008. Somewhere along the way the Euro and the US dollar got severely out of whack, and the prices of Warwick basses skyrocketed causing sales to dry up seemingly overnight. I haven't touched an import brand since, other than Yamaha.

Strings, though, are a fairly modest investment, and Warwick strings are distributed in the US by the same folks who distribute Sadowsky strings: W-Music in Nashville. I've already got that relationship going with Sadowsky, so I figured why not add Warwick?

I've started by stocking Warwick's 4-string and 5-string sets with a .045" G string, both their Black Label and Red Label sets. The Black Label sets are made in USA, and the Red Label sets I assume are made somewhere overseas given their price point.

I don't have any immediate plans to expand my Warwick offerings from here, but I'd be happy to order other sets if I don't currently stock your favorite(s). Just let me know what you like, and I'll go get it!

My first shipment should arrive by the end of this week, and you can follow the link below to find Warwick bass strings on my website:

My first shipment of Warwick strings has arrived!

I don't suppose that singles are available?
It doesn't look like it, at least they're not shown as an available product on the dealer website where I place my orders.

I'll reach out to them to see if they might be open to selling singles or maybe doing a set with custom gauges. What would you be after in terms of the type of string and the gauges?

.035 .055 .070 .090 .120

I would buy multiple sets if necessary.

Edit: it's the Black Labels I would be interested in.
Sorry to report there's no love for either single strings or custom sets from Warwick.

In the Black Label line, there are two 5-string sets that are .040-.130 (nickel or stainless steel). That's as close as they can get. Let me know if either of those interests you and I'll order some.
