Hey Burgie, im sure that he can go down another 40 bucks, if this is what you are willing to spend...1,400. You have to remember that it is new, maybe you should try and buy it used, but im sure that they will go down when u get serious and have the cash in hand....i feel a little sad, i have not played my Warwick in like 3 days, since i just bought a beautiful MVP 4 Pedulla...i think tommorrow the FNA gets some string pulling and plucking....either way good luck...you will love the JazzMan!

This is my main bass, Corvette FNA JazzMan 5, I love it, I can get a great variety of tones, and the action is great.

I sold this one a couple of moths ago (stupid move) I really miss is it, anyway, you can't go wrong with a JazzMan

they are not all that good. They are made from a AAA maple i think. The woods arent exotic at all. My friend over the road got the corvette standard in white, and it didn't look that nice. He got it for £400 ish, yet i am getting the real warwick version for like an extra £170. Also the basses i have seen always have a high polish on them. I hat it becuase when you play slap it scratches it!

Yes, in the USA, there are passive or completely active versions, as in preamp, and powered p/ups (at Dana B. Goodes request). Over here in Euroland, the active version isn't properly active (as I found out to my dissmay). They have the same preamp, but MEC Dynamic Correction passive p/ups, which are as noisy as...well... a very noisy thing. I explained this to the Bass Centre, and the fact the Warwick brochures and websites were as clear as mud on this. They upgraded to the active MEC free of charge for me.

Naw. Rockbass is made in China. They're cool basses but mine really just made me jones for a real one.
I live in America, why would i want to buy one made in another country, i could never understand that! to each his own!
Oops, you're right, but still, there's a huge difference between American made and Chinese-Korean made basses (or just about any instrument)
The thing is, a CNC machine works the same anywhere you put it. Foreigners just get a bum rap because the owner of the license hands them a pile of inferior parts and tell these people to assemble the parts for practically no pay. And be quick about it already! I'm sure there are plenty of talented luthiers in Korea, but they'll never get the capital they need to export.
I love my Ltd 2002. I've got 145/200 and I still can't believe how well it plays.
