I played one when they first came out and I was pretty impressed , I think some of them are actually chambered.

    looks like mine, Wenge.
  6. Neck certainly looks to be wenge..

Is it just me, or does a painted warwick look strange?

I love their natural finishes personally :)

Same feeling. I don't like paint, and pickguards. Especially flaked paint, and on Warwick!

Warwick = natural or stained look. The looks of this bass makes me queasy.

Nice bass that one, it's even got one of those 2-Tec bridges!
    Someone's gonna get a bargain!

that blue flake paint job looks killah !!!

one more thing to notice, in addition to the wenge neck, it still has the original brass saddle !! (far better than the adjust-a-nut, i´m gonna convert mine!)

  10. If there was a way to put some 22" chrome spinners on there, I think it would be complete.:D

All joking aside, I think it's pretty hot in an unusual way.

The body is swamp ash and the neck is either wenge or ovangkol...fretboard is wenge and the pickups are passive...cool bass

wow that thing looks awesome, in a wierd kindof way.
Definitely not the typical looking warwick. It stikes me as looking like a mix of warwick neck + body shape combined with fender-esque sparkly paintjob and pearly pickguard. A groovy combo for something retro-ish but not typical...

    Strange and ugly, imo.

Yes, a painted Warwick looks strange... but buy it, holy crap!

    I'm biased though...

And doesn't the honey violin finish make you feel better about blue on a Wick?
