Warwick neck

I was given a Warwick rockbass with a cracked neck. The cost to have it repaired is more than it's worth. It appears Warwick doesn't sell replacement necks. My luthier feels the crack is beyond acceptable repair. Anyone have any suggestions?
I've seen cheap necks from China. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Seeing as how the Rock Bass was made in China, I wouldn't be put off of the cheap necks available on eBay. I think they're worth a shot, because any other option is likely to put you at the price range of a complete used bass.

Old thread but I have a question hopefully someone can answer. I have a left handed 5 string Warwick Corvette that I might need a neck for. I'm not sure if I can use a righty neck or not but in the case of sending it to Warwick I wonder if they send replacements for the rock bass line. I'll dig through the Warwick threads and see what others have been doing in a similar situation.

I would just email warwick and ask. They never seem to take longer than a business day to reply.
I'll do that. Never hurts to ask. Thanks! :)

here's a pic of before the dogs got a hold of it. The bass came to me with stripped screws holding the neck on so I filled them and screwed it back on hoping it would hold. I didn't get 10 minutes after stringing it and getting it mostly set up before I walked away to open the door for a friend coming over when I heard the boom from it getting thrown off the table from the dogs roughhousing knocking the table and everything over. It ripped the screws right out of the neck so I figured its probably time for a new neck since this ones already been through so much even before my dogs got a hold of it.
