Warwick RB Streamer STD 5

Invalid Link Removed

Anyone who has any experience with this bass?

I am thinking of getting this 5-stringed beauty as I miss having that B-string when playing.

Melodic Death Metal/Power Metal will be played finger-style. Is this the bass for me?

Would like to hear some reviews! :)

Have it. Love it. My main bass. B string sounds nice. Really beefy tone. Not an overly heavy bass. Nothing fancy about it other than the Adjust-A-Nut II and 3D bridge. It's just a well made straightforward bass with big tone. Tone is pretty dark so really crank the mids and throw some gain in there to cut through and get as much of that Warwick growl as possible.

Yup, light, solid, and very dark/growly sounding. Output is a tad "low" so you'll have to crank your preamp just a bit more. 5-piece neck is very stiff and mine just laughs at the crazy weather swings we have here in the Midwest. Invest another $45 in a pro setup and you have one serious bass on your hands. Just make sure you get the current version with the standard "W" logo, two-piece bridge, etc. These have the same German-made hardware and electronics as the Standard line. Older versions with the giant "ROCKBASS" logo are not in the same league.

Forgot about the low-ish output. I need vastly different patch settings on my Zoom B3 for this bass than any of my other basses.
