Ha, I love it! Would totally want a Thumb one. This would be a great christmas present for me. Now if only my family knew this existed...
Something like this should be a "swag" promo item sent out to folks in the industry and high volume retailers. A buddy of mine was in the vinyl record industry for many years, and he had some of the dumbest promo items, and some of the coolest promo items... and a TON of it. . Whenever I would visit, he would send me home with an armload of stuff like that. I would pay about $25 for one. Its really just advertisement junk.

I lived in Berlin for a year, most of the time dudes were eating Turkish fast food.
One dude owned a deli bakery kinda thing, can't remember what it is in german, and I was asking him to make me sandwiches like an American.
Slice the meats paper thin, even layers of stuff (not like a random grape on a brioche), mustard/mayo are your friends in equal amounts. We got philosophical about how sandwiches are a universal thing. Mouth feel, image explaining that to a German without mentioning adult videos, it's actually difficult bc Germans aren't Italians or French. There's a different layering of sensations to activity. Also they kinda got rid of everyone that knew how to make a good sandwich in 1938-1944, and they didn't come back to open sandwich spots.
Pointing out how Danes really had the construction of an open faced sandwich down was a political statement of some kind. Either way go to Germany and walk around eating a sandwich, they really like that.

I had that thought this morning.
Get 2 of them, glue them together, whack a neck heel down, screw random stuff onto it and voila.
it's not a bagel, but it's something similar; that one has no hole. usualy it's spread butter of cheese spread on top with ham-cheese combo
