Warwick Streamer bass

I had never really played a Warwick until today when I picked up a cheapy used Streamer bass at a store near me. My slapping has never sounded better: clear, punchy, and easy to do up and down the neck. Even sliding around on the bass from the bottom F note up to the Bflat on the sixth fret felt effortless and sounded great.

Is it time to invest in a Warwick, even the cheapy one for now (on sale for $299 used)?

I am assuming this is a Rockbass version of the Streamer at that price point? Probably an older one with Rockbass on the headstock or possible a Streamer Standard that is German made.
