Warwick thumb NT5 serial number

Good morning. Have a chance to purchase a used Warwick thumb NT5 for my son as a gift. I ran the serial number on their site and comes up as, number not found. Any Warwick owners have the same issue? I just want to be sure it's authentic. There are hipshot tuners on this bass, which was told to be by the owner.

I also have one that wasn't found on Warwick's serial number lookup. It's a 2005-ish Corvette BO 5.

Email Warwick. They have a email address just for this. I sent them the required pictures and serial number and they got back to me with everything I need to know about my bass, plus it was on the lookup within a couple of hours. Good luck

that's the email. You need to send the serial number, pictures of the front and back and the back with the plate removed. That's what was requested of me when I inquired. Good luck. Also a picture of the serial number on the bass.
