warwick vs fender

I love them both dearly, so I am planning a warmoth build of a J bass made with a wenge neck and walnut body with warwick quick release control cavity cover and a just-a-nut. I've been looking to see if a warwick bridge could be fitted to a J bass body but looks like it can't :(

Gee, Side, I just do not know. I've always played Fenders and only picked up a Warwick but once. Seemed to be nice, but I don't know.

I tell you what you do. Buy a Warwick Corvette fretless and one of those new Fender '08 Precisions (sunburst please) and mail them to me. I'll give them both a test drive for a period of about ten years or so, and then send them back. By then, both will be nice and broken in, and of course I'll have them set up for whatever strings you wish. I will also include a detailed report of which I preferred and why.

Deal?
