Warwick w/ Piezo - Control Layout

Hello All -

I recently purchased a Warwick Dolphin Pro-1 (eBay) - with a piezo (standard HB & single coil magnetic p/us). I had never seen one before.

It has 3 stacked knobs. As far as I can tell #1 (closest to neck) is the magnetic volume & blend. #2 is the treble & bass (although the treble control doesn't seem as dynamic as on my Thumb Bass). #3 seems (emphasis on seems) to be the piezo volume on top, and the blend between piezo and magnetic on the bottom.

HOWEVER - when I turn this (top) knob down - it kills all the output from the bass - not just the piezo.

Is anyone familiar with a warwick piezo system and this control configuration?

Congrats on your new instrument.

where is blend in this situation?

if blend is all the way back 100% on the piezo, it will act as master volume for the whole bass.
