Maybe I am being pedantic, but video makers, please remember the second w is silent!
Ja, Like Wenge, pronounced Wengee! In German there are no silent letters.
Das Stimmt! In German, the letter "W" is pronounced like "V" in English.
So the proper German pronunciation would be "Vahr-vick." I'm not sure if the company uses this though.

Not according to Warwick, unless the company has been pronouncing its own name wrong for 30 years.
I believe Andy Irvine pronounces that second "w" as well. So....ya....
I'm in the UK and people refer to the basses here just as they would refer to the place name. No second w pronounced.
I stand corrected. But I will start a brand of basses called Heidelberg which will be officially pronounced 'Simon'.![]()
