Found myself without a bass and visited a pawn shop for something cheap to get me through a seven day drought. Came away with this Washburn AB-10. I've been enjoying it quite a bit, and I'd like to know more about it.
What I do know is the serial number, 9402022 indicates it was made in 1994. It's got an oval hole, which I'm given to understand was standard in 1994, the first year the bass was made. Is all that correct?
I'm also curious how rare this bass is, in this condition.
It appears to need a new 9-volt connector, and the output puts out like a nun. I assume there's a dead solder or broken wire, but I am curious to know if anyone has recommendations re: replacing the preamp should that prove necessary.
