Washburn B-2?

I have been looking for a cheap project bass and I got an offer for a Korean 80's Washburn B-2 bass for 80€, which is about 110 dollars. Is it worth it? The neck seems pretty nice, the body is no big deal since I would probably end up making my own precision body.

It's a SN, isn't it not?

Not so easy to reuse the neck even if it's perfectly possible to do so.

The choice is Yours of course, but why butcher a somewhat rare bass that has an early Metallica connection, I for one can't quite understand.

Thanks for the answer. Well the bass is in pieces anyways, the body is completely bare, the neck is complete (without the nut) though. As far as I've read, the original pickups and electronics were pretty bad and thin sounding, but I'm really looking for a punkrock machine.
