Watched category?

I keep getting alerts like: XXXX uploaded an image called XXXX to the watched category Bass Guitars. 8 minutes ago.

How can I stop getting these? The "Alert Preferences" do not list "Categories".

That must be the media gallery "bass guitars" category. Yeah I don't think there are alert prefs for that. You'll have to unwatch that category: go to Bass Guitars | TalkBass.com and you should see a link near the top to unwatch category.

That did it! I went to the media, at the top of the page there was a "Watched Content" link and a submenu "Watched Categories".
