Watts on older SVT-3 Pros?

Has the wattage of the 3-Pro been bumped up in the past? I saw a posting on a local craigslist for an Ampeg head rated at 300w but with a tube pre. No pictures, no further explanation. I can't really think of what else it could be than a 3-Pro...

Any ideas?

Hm, well this guy said it was specifically tube pre... Not all tube, but who knows.
