Have you heard of this guy? Well, I hadn't untill I picked up his album today. It is called forgotten melody, and its a really interesting CD. He sounds very much like a more open, less busy Marcus Miller, but with his own style. Hes not a copy cat, but that is the closest analogy I could come up with. His website is

Check him out, as he is one of the few Australian Bass players to really kick out a big CD and go for it.

Wayne Jones is a cool guy, I have chatted with him on myspace. I got some of his new stuff on Itunes and it's great. If I remember right he is playing a Status bass for alot of the new music.
