We Are Lady Parts (TV show)

I've been watching We Are Lady Parts, a funny show about some musicians in England trying to make a go of it. Really cool perspective, since it focuses on Muslim women in Great Britain, an interesting dichotomy of punk/rebel and traditional/conservative worldviews.

What initially made me want to post here was the similarities of the lead guitarist's electric guitar and one of my basses. She plays on a Squier Telecaster, not sure of the exact model but it's white/blonde with a maple neck and it's got a bunch of stickers on it. I have a Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass, also maple neck and likewise there's a bunch of stickers on it.

I did a search here so that I could find an existing thread about the show to share some pics on, but was surprised by the search results, as it seems the show hasn't been mentioned here yet.

No worries, it's not the greatest show in the history of television, but I found some great inspiration in it and it's pretty dang funny. If you need something new to watch, and have Peacock (NBC) I can recommend the show heartily.

Here's a coupla pics, one of my bass and a promo shot from the show!

P.S. The bassist on the show also uses a Squier, looks like a 60s or 70s P Bass of some variety...
