we recorded without overdubbing or extra tracks

This was a real first for us.
We are a 3 piece that plays instruMental, crazy, fun music (guitar, bass, drums).
This is our 3rd release.
This time we recorded live, all together in the same room and we did no overdubs, no punch-ins, no extra tracks, no layering.
We just played the tunes and recorded.
I would to hear any thoughts!!

I like it! I like when it feels like things are starting to fall apart and you guys might lose the thread of the song and then the dynamics come back down and you come back together. One thing that seems to be gained by your approach is that you can play off of one another in real time and adjust on the fly rather than having each thing overly orchestrated. There's a time and place for a carefully structured song, but what you guys are doing sounds fun.

Thanks!!
The point is definitely to be able to play off each other and not be over constrained by playing to a click, but being able to let it breath and get close to falling apart. The songs are actually tightly structured, but we've been working on making them not sound that way. I guess it's working!!
Thanks for taking the time to listen.
