I just brought my upright, which has been in cold weather for awhile, to Miami. About two weeks ago, I noticed a rattle definately coming from the wood on the top. The exact spot that rattles changes almost daily, but it is usually around the bridge area. I played someone else's bass that had the same problem (he had just brought it down from up north too). He said that the wood is adjusting to the weather and needs to "open up". Who here has had a similar problem and is there a cure?
