Which would you choose? I've used Webstrings for guitar and bass before, and they were alright. Naked Strings get a lot of buzz, but I'm iffy on them because of the excessive playable string length that would wind onto the tuners.

I've got to string at least 4 different basses right now, and I don't play them all that often, so I'm not interested in DR or other, more expensive, strings.

Any other suggestions in the $10-15 per set range that won't sound terrible?

When I was on a cheap string kick, I used Hartke strings for a while and thought they were ok. They seemed relatively consistent considering they are imports. Was getting the 3 packs for around $18 at the time but I think they are a bit more now.

The only other cheap strings I've tried are Daddario XL's and GHS Bassics. Neither of which I liked.

My string preference for nickels is still DR Sunbeams. I pick them up on sale from time to time for under $20. I just stock up when I get them.
