Weird Ampeg sorta question

Hi everyone,
So, I have an Ampeg Pf-20 head, on top of two Ampeg PF-115HE cabs, and am in the process of adding a V-4B head to the mix. Is there any issue with leaving the PF-20 head attached in the cab flipped over when I'm using the V-4B to drive them? I would happily detach the PF-20 from the cab if it is worth doing so, but really like the idea of just leaving it attached if it won't do it any harm.
Many thanks as always, TBer's.

A flipped head in a working cab changes the internal volume, the two cabs when used together could perform differently. It’ll rattle the amp. Flipping is overrated, I’d leave the head unattached from the lid. Get a bag to carry the head.

As suggested, the idea of a dummy lid is good, cover it with matching vinyl but not necessary. It’s actually useful to have the head on the lid beside you when recording with the cab in use. It can reside in another room or amp closet.

No reason why the V4B has to be on top of the cabs. I put mine on an ATA case or on the floor. The vintage ones are really wide, hard to find any cab that it fits on.

Cool, thanks for all the info, especially the info about the internal volume of the cab getting messed up by the presence of the PF-20 in there. As far as the width of the V-4B, all the info I can find indicates that the spacing of the feet is 19.5", so it should sit on the cab okay. If not, I can either a)run my 2 PF115he cabs side by side, b)relocate the feet to be narrower on the amp, or c) put the amp on the floor, off the cabs.
Once the V-4B arrives, I will be simply detaching the PF-20 from the lid. Seems like the easiest solution, especially since I will really only be using the PF-20 at home anyway.
