Double Bass Weird Noise when playing the G string

Does anyone can tell me where this noise is coming from?
It only happen on the G string, and I recently make a base for the bass to stand upright (Picture). And guess what it doesn't do the noise when in the base!.... end pin may be? Sound post? Any ideas?

Wow, sounds like a tambourine obbligato! Whatever it is, you found the frequency that gets it going. One of the first places I would look at is the tuners. I wouldn't know what you have there but I have had trouble like that with clover key-style tuners in the past. The key has a tendency to work itself loose thus creating an ideal opportunity for unwanted vibration. There are a number of things to check:

End pin-a thinner, longer end pin (the retracted portion inside the bass).

Open seams-do the old tap test and see if there is anything obvious.

Loose fingerboard-put pressure against the board while plucking the G.

Loose cleats or structural supports in the bass.

These are a few places that come to mind but mind you, the possibilities are far greater than the few mentioned here. Good luck!

I will check right now for all that...but what about the fact that is doesn't make any noise when is int he base? :eyebrow:

It seems like the end pin was a little loose it comes from the end pin for sure, I tied down hard now and it doesn't do the noise on G anymore but it does it some time in others notes, but not that hard and not that consistent like it was on G.... it does it mostly when is the screw is set on the end pin little channels... but that where is suppose to be right?
