Hi folks,

I am experiencing a strange problem with my MM SUB 5.
Last night, went out for gigging. I take the SUB 5 off the case and when beginning the soundcheck I notice my G string tends to flip out the of the nut when played open string with a quite normal playing (just a bit harder that smooth). I had not experienced that yet.

What would you do to fix the problem ?

Many thanks,
Jay

First off, make sure you've got enough downward pressure on the string. The more wraps at the tuning post, the closer to the headstock, the better it will be. That may solve your problem altoghether.
