I wasn't planning on buying a bass, but I saw this on Reverb about a week ago. Gorgeous instrument at a good price, so I thought may be too good to be true. A couple days went buy and it saw still there. I couldn't believe no one jumped on it, so I called the shop. After asking a bunch of questions, I was satisfied, so she arrived today.

The only downside is now I'm extra motivated to sell my other Stingray.

Now THAT is a 'gram-worthy bass. Photos of that one on all the socials would win the Internet. Even those little aesthetic details like the gold pickguard screws, gold truss rod wheel, and gold pole pieces in the pickups.

And if it sounds good too (especially in a short of it being played)... that's a crushing Internet win.

Curated bass in the best way.

My efforts in downsizing often end up this way too. Congrats on the new bass! You say you have a Ray looking for a new home maybe?
I do! Not going to try and clog up the thread talking about it, but I just put the link in my sig. Price is negotiable and includes shipping & case.

I absolutely love the gold pole pieces, such a nice touch.

Is it lighter than you other Stingray? That would be downsizing, wouldn't it?
The classic I have weighs in at 9 lbs 14.7 oz. This one weighs 8 lbs 6.4 oz. So close to a bound and a half lighter.
