You don't think the inmates in there are going to tear him apart? I'm fairly certain child molesters are never looked highly upon by anyone. I'm pretty sure prison will be anything but severe for him...

Generally so, but since he's a celebrity and his horrible crimes are known around the world, he wouldn't last 5 minutes in the general population. So to answer your question, no he won't be in jeopardy because the atrocity of his acts have secured him a safe spot in segregation away from any inmate contact.

It always confuses me when I think about the US Justice System - is it simply about taking a dangerous element out of the population? Or is it about official revenge/vengeance for crime(s) committed? Is it about rehabilitation of the individual? All of the above?
Frankly I'd like to see him get his 'nads cut off but I guess we don't do that here unfortunately.
