Farewell and Goodbye! And thank you for all the musical memories! He was there right from the beginning; Rock n' Roll in it's Infancy, and he saw how it grew and helped shape it's fabric and core.
It seems these days they're going all too fast, like every other week there is one more gone, great amazing talents and people who inspired and nurtured my musical and poetic mind.
It's wonderful that all the his music still remains behind for us to appreciate and cherish.

Have to say David Crosby, The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and CSN&Y were an influence on me. Beautiful voices that helped kick off the CA sound. Thank you so much David for the wonderful music. Rest well.

No surprise but sad, anyway. R.I.P, David (I saw you on August 31, 1974 with your SN&Y cohorts).
My long hair, my leather fringe jacket ( late 60's man ), and my passion for music was largely influenced by David and Steven. RIP Dave.
So sad...RIP, David. I hope the young'uns remember how great he was!. And, I hope there will never be a time when these greats are not remembered...
Agreed. Every day is a gift and I'm running out of them. 81 is 11 years away and the with how fast the the last 10 went....LOL!!!
Like Jeff Beck, Crosby was doing great work all the way to the end, and at a high artistic level. Also like Beck, Crosby has been part of the soundtrack to my life from my teen years on.

I do. I'm in pretty good health with no physical imitations other that being slower that I was in my sports day. I've had a full rich life. My 3rd retirement has been interesting, as I still get offers to keep on working. Buy doing financial plans in this day and age, in a world that gives the impression it is totally out of control, frankly I'm not that good..LOL!!
