Yeh I would like to discuss playing and gear and other things of interest with local bassists.I also will be playing Stratford green tomorrow tuesday the 28th at 6:30.Do any of you guys have some shows coming up?been in any bands or situations your proud of.Maybe you want to make a guest appearance on My cable access show next time I film at Banko's music store lets chat

I only have pics of my newest bass. I don't have any pics of any of the others. Guess I need to do that at some point. lol...

But here's a couple of pics of my new main bass. An Ibanez Prestige SR1006EBG. They were taken just last week after I put the new THG knobs I had made for it on it. :)

Nice 6 string,I do a cable access show and we spotlighted that same bass but in a more blonde shade if I recall.I was more than a little impressed.Oh and hello Fairfield I also have some history with that town(my Ex)

They made the SR1006 that year in a number of wood combinations. The one you tried was probably the maple one. One my friends that moved out of state plays with a bassist with one of those. He said it sounds great too. That was the final nudge I needed to buy the one I have. No regrets at all. She's really punchy, something that was lacking in the SR506 I had been playing the last few years.

One of these days I'll get pics of the whole family, though they are a bit scattered at the moment. If nothing else, I'll take a pic of my Stingray. She was my first and only bass for 25 years and goes nowhere without me. These days she mostly just sits in her case and rests. lol...

I did the same thing though. In college, I sold my '81 4003 for rent money. It's one I wish I could have back.

I'm in Bristol, do I count? I'm not sure about the west of the river thing. I'm originally from the Virginia Beach area where the water is only on one side. :)

I did my last couple of recordings in a private studio in Bristol,I actually had to play all the instruments(this means I cant release it cause I am not so proficient) but I did give birth to 2 new originals.1 of them was actually written on Bass.Whenever I record I lay down the blueprints for my next session.I am always 2 or 3 songs ahead.

My mom is from Foxon but the family farm is in North Branford. Everybody has pretty much died off or moved to Florida. You might look up Dudley and Vickie Harrison in NB; they're up by the dam. Still runs the maple syrup concession...how cliche!
