WESTON?

I was checking out our local pawn shop today, which very seldom has any bass's, and to my surpirse I spotted a 4 sting from across the store. As I got closer I noticed the brand name "WESTON". After I got home I checked the intenet and discovered that they seem to be 80's MIJ products. Does any one have any experience with these bass's?

Could it have been a "WestonE"? These were cool MIJ basses in the 80's. The Thunder iii's were fab. Superb quality. Aesthetically, a little "meh". But the tone made up for that.

Kinda funky looking from the 80's. Most were good build quality but were fugly.

I have a wesone Genesis II. Believe me the fretwork is better on this than my Warwick or Spector

I came across a weston p/j bass at a yard sale Cheap piece of blankety blank if you ask me. And yes there is westone and other brands close to that name.
