westone um3x-rc

Hey, Im looking at getting a set of westone um3x-rc IEMs. I've been checking online and have found they seem to have great reviews but I also have read that if you sweat at all it can kill the IEM. Has anyone experianced this I don't want to drop a bunch of money on headphones and have then die after a month.

I've been using the UM3x for several months now. LOVE them. I sweat like a pig and no problems. I highly recommend the Comply foam tips though. Much better fit, isolation, and bass response. Be sure to get the model with the removable cable.

I thought I would eventually replace them with custom molds, but they are so awesome I really don't see the need.....

Thanks for the replies. I am leaning toward the UM3x-rc's. However I have a unique issue. I have had a bilateral myrengotomy, which is a fancy word for tubes in my ears. Like a child often needs. I have to be careful about how far I insert something. Standard earbuds are ok as long as I don't really insert as far as possible, but what I really need is a solution for keeping them in - other than duct tape :)
