What’s your go to Stingray EQ setting?

Just curious what your favourite EQ setting is using the the stingray EQ?
Please mention what model you are using and if 2 band or three band.
My go to seems to be centred on my 2007 Stingray 5 HH.
I just bought a 2015 Stingray 4 H and have not figured out my favourite setting yet but I do dial the treble down a bit.

Bass: 7
Mids: 7
Treble: 3

The above setting gives a tone close to Paul Denman, who played with, Sade.

My Stingray is a 2001 model, three band EQ.

Honestly, it really depends on what sound I’m going for. Even the “classic” 3-band is very versatile despite what some folks say. The cool thing about the treble knob is it can be turned down ;)

Some go-to tones for me are:

B-8/10
M-6/7
T-6

B-8/10
M-4
T-6/7

B-7/8
M-6/7
T-3

B-10
M-10
T-10

All sound good to me :)

Interesting to see. I don't own a Stingray but it's the only brand name I haven't tried. I always imagined that this was for players seeking a distinct treble-strong tone, with clang. Settings in this post show a consistent bass content that is higher than the treble.
Generally, I'm a short scale, passive bass guy so I'll check out the Sterling shorty model. I don't need more basses of course and can't justify price of the EB models.

On my special 5 H I use these. Parallel for traditional bright Ray sound, series with filter for lower treble focused mid stuff, series for… I dunno, more beef?

I have a '94 Stingray 3-band. I almost always have some bass boost (halfway between the center detent and max), mids either flat or slightly boosted, and treble to taste depending on the song--somewhere between slightly boosted or slightly cut, depending on what I'm going for.

I'll go ahead and be a contrarian, and say that my favorite Stingray tone was the passive version they did for the Tim Commerford signature line... So, no EQ! I'd get one if they weren't so dang expensive.

(Sterling did a similar passive model, but AFAIK it's only offered in short scale...)

3 band SR5 ceramic

I like it flat in mid position, but while single practicing I always end up in this setting:

Bass: 0 - +2
Mid: 0 - +2
Treble : 0 - -1
Volume: 5
0 = mid position knobs

It all depends on the room and the music...

I set my stuff up to be as close to the Flea sound as I could (difference is I have a 3 band and his is a 2 band boost only)
Anyway for me that entails as his tech stated roughly
bass turned almost all the way up
treble turned up just a little
I don't really touch the mids on it unless the room just needs something (in which case I have push pull for both low and high mids)

I have 2 'Rays. Both using ceramic SD pickups and East preamps, one 2 band fretted, one 3-band sweepable-mid fretless.

2 Band fretted.
B - 3
T - 5

B - 5
T - 7​

3 Band fretless with flats
B - 3-5
T - 7
M - 7 at ~900 Hz.

B - 5
T - 5
M - 3 at ~500 Hz​

When I had my Classic, I dimed the 2-band treble and bass.

When I had my 3-band models, I bumped the bass and treble slightly and modified the mid as needed. All H models, the five stringers had the 3-way switch in the back position.
