What 5 String "Jazz" Basses have a 1.75" nut and are 35" Scale?

Title says it all, for the most part. Still have not found a 5 string jazz that I like, but want to, haha.

I have owned 3 Fender Jazz Basses over the years, and couldn't stand the wide nut, neck profile, or the floppy B that came on all of them, very uncomfortable.

If you know of any jazz basses that meet that description, please let me know. Thanks

I’m pretty sure this is correct—standard but width on a 5 is 1 7/8”, but 35” scale length. I’m reasonably confident you could request a 1 3/4” nut

I am re-discovering mine and I really love it. When both pickups are in single mode, it sounds like a jazz for sure. Then only thing that I don't really like about the bass is the bridge.

However, Schecter has a "proper" jazz bass: the J-5. The nut is 1.77 though. But that green is really sexy

Yeah, guess I should have specified, would be nice if something could be had for under 1K. Might not be out there, but that's why I am here.

Nice. Did not consider Schecter having a jazz, but there it is, with my desired neck specs.

The Sandberg California TT is also available in those specs (1.77 width), but it's over that 1K price range.
If you're willing to look at more modern jazz, the MTD Kingston Saratoga meets pretty much all of your needs with a 1.76 width neck.

The Saratoga is actually a 34" scale. I thought for a long time that it was 35" too, but only the Kingston Z and Super models are.

I play a Lakland skyline vintage jazz 5 that is supposedly has a 1.81” nut and it’s quite narrow to me. It’s also 35” scale with a righteous low B.

This has been a great workhorse bass for me but I’m finding it a bit big … hoping to find a similar, affordable 5 with 34” scale in the near future.

The Saratoga is actually a 34" scale. I thought for a long time that it was 35" too, but only the Kingston Z and Super models are.
