Well, the midwest hit it first, now the Big Apple boys are planning one ...

    Howzabout a Seattle version???

I actually live across the water in Kitsap county, so can't offer to host, but are others in the area interested in trying to get together somewhere in Seattle???

    I can bring:

Christopher plywood bass w/ Underwood and Velvet Animas
    Roscoe LG3005 fretless 5-string
Steinberger Synapse fretless 5-string severely upgraded by Mike Lull
Musicman Stingray 5-strings, one fretted and one fretless

    iAmp 500 head
    AI Clarus SL head
    2 x Wizzy cabinets
    GK MB112 cabinet
old Polytone Teeny Brute (recently refurbished with new speaker and all new capacitors ... sounds like new or better)

    Who's in???

    :bassist: :bassist: :bassist:

(I still say we need an upright version of that bass smiley ...)

I'm in. And I'll bring the Chimay (Belgian beer made by monks).

    Also will bring:
    Peavey Cirrus 5 fretless
Rob Allen MB-2 5 fretless (due May 22nd)
    SVT-2 Pro head
    Aguilar 8x10 cabinet
    dbx 160A compressor
    Korg DTR-2 rack tuner
    Decimator noise eliminator

Our church has a coupla other bass players (one with an upright), so I'll try to get them in on it too.

I can also bring a Tascam DP-01FX recording console to record sounds of different things, and a Audio-Technica dual element (it has condenser and dynamic) microphone.

I live across the water as well, in Bremerton. Either side is fine with me for meeting up.

    Cool, thanks!

I do want it tailored to DB (even though I listed only one DB and several BGs) so hopefully some DB folks will chime in as well!

    Thanks again,

Count me in from the Oregon contingent. I'd drive up. My in-laws are in Gig Harbor so you wouldn't even have to spare your couch!
