Back in 2000 or so my first "pro" rig consisted of a newer Carvin red line 410, a used Carvin 118 with a replacement speaker I swapped in, and a Mesa Boogie bass 400 I picked up used at a garage sale for $300.
Made the Mesa sound like a $500 garage sale amp.
I play that Mesa through an a Eden 210xst and or 410xlt now.
They make the Mesa sound like an American made all tube Monster.
