I am a semi-professional musician
I recently bought a CD of Hands All Over by Maroon 5 as well as the 45 of With A Little Luck by Paul McCartney and Eldorado and Face The Music by ELO for a friend for Christmas.

Last year for Christmas I received the following records as presents

Centerfield by John Fogerty
Rock N Roll Animal by Lou Reed
Juice by Juice Newton
The Grateful Dead 1967 debut (which I also have on compact disc)
The Best Of The Grateful Dead 1977-1989

This year for Christmas I would like to own
Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish
Leftoverture by Kansas
Brain Salad Surgery by Emerson Lake and Palmer
Lindsey Buckingham's new album
And Masque by Kansas

But please share the albums you want for Christmas here. Thanks

I typically buy myself the albums. My taste can make it hard to hunt down. If I'm lucky, my wife will buy me gift cards to the local record store.

I have a list going though:

Bill Evans Trio - Sunday at Village Vanguard, Portrait in Jazz
Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia
Greta Van Fleet - Battle at Garden's Gate
Heart - Dreamboat Annie
Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual
Mother Mother - Touch Up
Miles Davis Quartet - Cookin, Steamin, Workin, Relaxin
Ozzy - Blizzard of Oz
Rainbow - Long Live Rock N' Roll

And bands I want an album but not sure which one

M83
Sabaton (have Great War, want to hear older stuff)
Journey
More pop ideas
Want to get into more bluegrass

And I'm sure I'm forgetting something
