But second, agree to teach the girl bass at $30 per hour, and it'll fund your next bass purchase! That way you can get PAID to attend their metalcore practice, and you can concentrate on finding your own band for your actual fun.

Not always. It just depends on the situation (no, not "The Situation" from Jersey Shore !).

I play with Noelle Hampton. Her husband, Andre, is the guitar player. Absolutely some of the nicest people I've ever met, and certainly among the most fun bands I've ever played with. I've been with them for two years, shared hotel rooms with them on the road, and generally seen just about every part of their lives - the good times, the "not so good" times, etc....and through it all, they've been the best band mates someone could ask for.

When I auditioned a little over two years ago, I was very hesitant, due to the fact of them being a married couple. I thought there was absolutely no way it could work. Now they have totally changed my views of relationships in bands. It all depends on the people involved.
