What amp? - Clueless

Hey, i know there properly thousands of these threads but w/e
Iv recently bough a Musicman Stingray and when plugging up to my marshal practise amp it sounds like crap so i think i need a new amp, but i have no idea what to look for :X

Like for instance what size speakers? What the hell does impendance mean? Dont really know what the diffrence is between tubes and solid state.

I know youve proberly all answered all these questions before but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

+1 for a Genz Benz Shuttlemax 6.0 or 12.0 + any Genz Benz cab. I would recomend a 2x12 or 4x10 cab to get u started. If you need a bigger setup, I would recomend the GB 12.0 because it can push multiple 8 ohm cabs no problem. If you are going to just run 1 cab, buy a 4 ohm cab. The Genz Benz Shuttlemax can nail literally any tone you could ever desire. It also has any feature you would ever want from an amp and gives you the option of a tube or solid state sound. You can also blend the two tones together. I have owned more tube and solid state amps than I can remember, and this is by and far the best head I have ever owned. It is lightweight (5lbs) and Genz Benz customer support is among the best in the biz. I would encourage you to try one out before settling on a purchase. Best of luck and happy hunting!
