So I'm going to purchase a Aguilar 212 cab, and I was wondering what amp you guys would suggest...? (I would to stay away from solid state if possible)

A hybrid amp is still solidstate power, and your question is quite vague. Read through the amps forums, there's so many similar threads already, loaded with tons of useful info.

I would make sure it's an 8 ohm cab so you can add a second can at a later time. The volume difference between an 8 and 4 ohm cab is slight ceteris parabis.
I just bought a used Ashdown ABM II that I am really happy with. I had it tuned up and it works great. It has a tube and the solid state option.
