What amp to get?

O.k. I need a amp. Lets say I have about a 200 dollar budget.
I already have two amps. I have a first act 15 watt amp and a Bassola 10 watt amp. Surprisingly not to bad of amps, but I need better ones. What do you guys think i should buy?

what size, what sound do you want, what style do you play?

I play rock, metal and some punk.
Im pretty much going for a nice low/deep sound. Something around 50 watts. I play a few higher sounding songs like Schism from Tool. Other than that mostly Lamb of God and other metal/heavy bands.

ok, so low deep, I will recommend the ashdown 15" 100 combo, it might be a little bit more but worth it. You can't do much with 50 watts.

With $200 I recommend looking for used ... have a look at the classifieds here.
Peavey, Hartke are 2 brands that jump to mind when I think of affordable and decent amps ...

I'd recommend the biggest, most powerful amp you can find for that price on Ebay. If you can find 150 watts or more for that money, you will be glad you did when you start playing with other musicians.

+1. Save up a few more bucks and get something at least 150w, even 300w if you can afford it, with maybe a 410 cab. I have seen really incredible deals on fully giggable used rigs. They aren't the best in the world, but they're plenty usable.

even the Ashdown 5/15 is way too quiet
