What amp to pair with Epifani cab?

I may be in the market for a new amp to go with my PS112 and am looking for some recommendations. I've done some hunting around here for people's thoughts on this but they seem to not have a ton a head vs. head comparison without descending into the oblivion of other conversations. (But it was none of you I swear...;))

I currently have a Hartke 3000 amp that I picked up a few years ago and haven't minded the tone. It's just nothing too spectacular.

I'm looking that for something in the $400 range that can give me warm, clean, good volume and (preferably, but not a must) D-class head with good mid range flexibility. These PS112 seem to have some ummph down way low and I'd like to make sure I can keep my mid-range present and full. Names that are popping up in my head are Hartke, Carvin, Eden, Traynor, Aguilar...

I like using effects and distortion but I don't need to dial that in with my head. I'd rather run a pedal for that. So having a head that plays nice with effects and these cabs is a must.
I'd be fine with something in the 300-400 watt range as I would probably buy another 112 before getting much more amp horsepower. The venue's all I play are usually churches and theaters.

The one Epifani cab I have played through (forgot the model, but it was a 410) was kind of scooped sounding, so I'd go for an amp that had a nice thick midrange. A used TH500 or Mesa Walkabout would stretch your budget, but would compliment the Epi nicely.

The Epifani voicing is mid-scooped, it's a little difficult to get a mid-heavy tone. I love my Markbass head with my Epifani cab, it's a fairly popular combo, but there are lots of good options. I would hit up a store if possible and just take your cab with you, see what you prefer.

Both very nice, but you're right about them being buidget-stretchers. An Aggy TH350 is also very nice. Powerful enough for most situations. And within the budget.

I have had PS210 and PS115 for years (not used together, btw) and have used several amps through them. My favorite is my MARKBASS F500. If you have never experienced the MB VLE and VPF filters you are in for a treat. You may find the missing mids that the PS112 has.
My main practice set-up is the PS210 and a Carvin BX500 and it works great, but, I prefer to use it with a BDDI since it is a very clean amp. The MARKBASS is the best amp that I have used that needs no other effects in the chain. It is the easiest amp I have used to quickly dial in to a particular room.
