I currently have a Ashdown MK500 paired with a bass POD. I was considering selling them but after some serious tweaking I came up with some sounds that I truly love.
My cabinet is a Bergantino NV610. I want to add the Berg. 215 now but my problem is impedance. The amp is 4 ohms minimum. The 2 bergs paired together will be a 2 ohm load. So what power amp can I line in to my ashdown that will make my amp (power amp+ashdown) a 2 ohm load and still not overkill the speakers? The 610 is rated at 700w and I believe the 215 is also 700w.
ANyone have any ideas on this?
