Which mixer and are you using an external router?
Is that signal set to 2.4G or 5G?
Does it happen on all mixers or just the XAir?-Different mixers. But usually Behringer XAir

It could be the router, because in my experience it’s usually NOT the app, but the device, the router or even number of connections on the mixers.

2.4G is absolutely NOT the best approach in the USA. Too cluttered and too much interference from venue wifi and cell phones.I would choose 2.4, which IME is much more stable for this kind of purpose.
For the audio transmission link I would not use 2.4ghz or 5ghz, for the WIFI data link to the phone or iPad 5ghz it is.I would choose 2.4, which IME is much more stable for this kind of purpose.
It should be stated that the devices in question need to support those frequency ranges or putting that config together buys you nothing!Just to throw another variable in the mix…
While 2.4 ghz is crowded, 5.8 ghz does not carry the same distance as 2.4. In practical application (my experience), it’s quite a bit shorter and more finicky. While it maybe overkill, using 5.8 ghz along with a some hardwired mesh routers will give you bullet proof performance. I do realize this is a bit much for a lot of people, but, we got tired of dealing with the risk of fragile in-ears and went this way. It’s a bit to setup, but, it’s perfect every time. BTW… Mesh system like, T-Links, have nice apps that will give you a good view of what’s happening with the WiFi. I never planned on becoming so versed in WiFi but it became necessary to sort out all the In-Ear and remote mixing situations.
FYI… I use Mix Station, A&H’s proprietary app Qu-You, and QSC’s iPad app… All are super stable when there’s a good WiFi setup that accounts for inference and coverage.
why even try? i do use mixing station for a few different mixers, works great but you have to buy a license for each type of mixer. otherwise, all the digital boards out there have their own apps and they're all free, probably best to use the native app for each.What are you guys using for a universal IEM monitor iPhone app?
