For those bands which use a click in IEMs, what are you using to get the click in your ears? Drum machines? Ipads? through the board? separate mixer......?

I've had it nauseate me before.I can't imagine the pain a click must cause listening to it in ear through a live performance. Would much rather have a percussion track.
what we do with my band was learnt after we saw what Roger Waters does.
This was recorded out the monitoring console... and of course, the click and count ups are not listened by the audience. Just the musicians. All of them.
I put this song as an example cos it´s the one with the most extreme click they've made.
