What are your settings on your SVT3-pro

bright - out
high - out
lo - out (sometimes in)
bass - 2 o clock
mid - 3 o clock
treble - 1 o clock
eq - on, upside down smiley(ish)
tube gain - all the way up baby! i control the volume with the other gain.

With regards to the tube gain, the reason i did this was because i found it gave me A LOT more headroom than i was previously getting

bright- in
high- in
low-in
gain- depends on the bass i use.
bass- about 1 o clock
mid- about 2 o clock
mid shift- 4
treble- usually about 2 but i do change this.
tube gain- often kranked all the way.. it gives me a very clear sound like this.
volume- for band practise usually at about 12 o clock sometimes pushed further.
graphic EQ set similar to the knob EQ but with a slight boost in the high mids and a the highest treble slider at flat..

this sort of setting is for my loud growly tone with my rickenbacker and stingray.

bright - out
high - out
lo - out
bass - 3 o'clock
mid - 4 o'clock
mid-freq - 3
treble - 12 o'clock
eq - on full, upside down smiley (+10 in the middle, 0 on both ends)
tube gain - 3 o'clock

gain - usually around 9 o'clock depending on the bass
master - up loud enough to be heard on stage (usually around 9 o'clock). I run a DI into the PA for FOH.

The set up sounds a little strong on the mids, but I'm running into a SVT-410HLF so the low end is there with just the right amount of punch and definition!!

It seems to be a happy medium for the Spector and the Geddy...:)

high - out
lo - out
bass - 2 o'clock
mid - 2 o'clock
mid-freq - 4
treble - 12 o'clock
eq - on, boosted +6: 0, +2, +6, 0, +4, +4,+2 (or something resembling)
tube gain - Full

gain - This is how I set over all volume.
master - Full

I have Avatar Neo 2X12 and 4X10 Cabs, and play a P-Bass. I use the DI to go to the board at the PRE setting.

With a single 15 and a Jazz bass with Dimarzio's
All buttons out
Treble, Mid, and Bass at approx 12:00 to 1:00; if the mids are boosted it's at #2 or #3
Tube gain all the way to the right (wish it had another half turn!)

Everything flat (except tube voltage knob set at 2 o'clock), all buttons out. Gain knob is set so the red light flashes on every note, but never on all the time.

READ CAREFULLY - Graphic EQ is set to mildly emulate what having the Ultra-Low/Ultra-Hi buttons in would normally do, without implementing those radical low/mid frequency cuts. This gives me that deep, aggressive tone and the full benefit of it's true power rating.

+++1. That's mine too....but occasionally when using J bass/single coil pups I'll bump 80hz just a little more for certain songs.
