What baked goods will my singer bring tonight???

Jelly doughnuts?

Alright, so....

First off, my apologies. I didn't take any pics. (Sorry, we were busy)

She brought two things.

First up was chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies. The were huge... like small cakes huge. And they were outstanding.

Then she did something pretty different, but awesome. She has to level cakes from time to time, or even cut them at angles using string. When she does that she has extra chunks of cake laying around. She broke those up into bowls for us and stirred in extra frosting from today's projects. So, basically a bowl of cake chunks in this ridiculously fluffy and yummy frosting.

And to make things even better, she made a Boston butt for her family for dinner and had way too much of that left over. So she brought a bunch of that too.

Throw in my wife's buffalo chicken dip, my guacamole, chips and veggies, and a couple beers, it was a feast!

And we got through our entire set for Saturday night including four new songs.

Whew!

Thanks for playing along!

Sorry again about the pics.

It's 1:15 a.m. here and I gotta get up at 5:20 for work. Wish me luck!

I quietly joined the Creme Puff contingent but the pork and Buffalo-chicken dip put me over the top.

How fantastic to play with folks to share such enjoyable non- musical experiences and
Be able to mix and play just as well on stage.

You are livin it.
Respect:cool:

One of my last bands, the drummer/ lead singer was a baker. We kept our gear in her shop(she lived upstairs). I'd drop her home, we'd unload the van, have a coffee, she'd have a quick shower, change clothes, and get right to baking. I'd usually stay an hour or so to help.
Amazing woman, don't know where she got the energy from.

This needs to be in its own thread. Female lead singer/ drummer/ baker, looking for a new opportunity!
