List all the bass covers you've learned, with in a month.

I haven't learned any "bass covers" in this past month; every gig I've done this summer has been either 100% originals or 100% improvised.

Last cover I had to learn for a gig was David Bowie's "Let's Dance" ...and that was probably >6 months ago.

In the spirit of truthfulness, I do not (usually) do a note for note transcription. Mostly because I haven't got the patience but also because sometimes I just couldn't play it anyway. I get all the major corners.

RIP General Johnson! I grew up with The Chairman. Worked as a bouncer during college at The Spanish Galleon at OD S.C. The General was a regular headliner and put on an awesome show

That's what our female singer chose but honestly I think she simply picked it because she hadn't considered it as a female song until she heard that version. Oops actually now that I clicked the link I realize its a different cover.
