No, it's a TRB5IIF, older series. I have a TRB5II already (from the series that came after this one), and I love it so I want a fretless as well. It's been refinished, it got a new ebony fingerboard and Dunlop straplocks.

Little red flags goin' up here- a friend had a TRB-5IIF, and the tone was completely AWFUL. It played well but the sound was just unpleasant. This is of course, subjective, and not everyone wants this tone, but the thing had absolutely no *mwah*- it just would not do it. We were suspicious of the preamp, but ended up selling it. We may have had a lemon, but I'd suggest playing this one before buying if at all possible.

The TRB5IIF (the exact one I have fretted) was the first fretless I've ever played and I've been in love with it ever since

well looking for a couple of basses one i'm planning on buying an aria steve bailey 6 fretless
then probly an mtd kz5...after that just an ibanez sr 505...one to meet my fretless needs...the other for my jazz...and the last for my soft rock if anybody has any alternatives for this music i should get let me know
