My god, it's so pretty! And only 600...
No, it's a TRB5IIF, older series. I have a TRB5II already (from the series that came after this one), and I love it so I want a fretless as well. It's been refinished, it got a new ebony fingerboard and Dunlop straplocks.
Little red flags goin' up here- a friend had a TRB-5IIF, and the tone was completely AWFUL. It played well but the sound was just unpleasant. This is of course, subjective, and not everyone wants this tone, but the thing had absolutely no *mwah*- it just would not do it. We were suspicious of the preamp, but ended up selling it. We may have had a lemon, but I'd suggest playing this one before buying if at all possible.I know it's lame in comparison to all of you... but probably a Hofner Icon.
