what bass is this?

hi guys I've searched the net to no avail so your my last hope.

I bought this bass second hand from a friend of a friend must be about 10 years ago now.
it says Suzuki on the headstock only has 1 pickup 1 volume control and 1 tone control. must be a really cheap entry level bass. other than it saying Suzuki theres nothing else on it to specify what it is. there is a small sticker behind the headstock saying "model number SBC-5BK and serial number Y050902284 designed in Japan" can anyone help identify this thing? will post pics soon

Well would you look at that. I remember seeing some way back in the day, but I had no idea Suzuki still made electric stringed instruments. Not overly impressed with what appears to be their current range though. Looks like they might not even be available in the USA anymore.
