What bass is this?

Hi guys, Im considering buying this bass but have no idea who made it or what its worth! Can anyone shed any light on potential luthier and a fair value?

Inlay makes me think it's a Antoniosai from Vietnam.
If it is, the quality is hit or miss.

I remember seeing a lot of these up on eBay at one point. Was always curious if they were decent quality or not. The inlays are gorgeous.

Yeah, my experience with antoniosai is that they're pretty, but at least the acoustic instruments weren't of long term playable quality. I'm guessing he just does the inlays and not the construction, so everything depends on the quality of his suppliers... I've got 3 of them, none currently playable.

Correct spelling is Antoniotsai.
There are so many pages relating shoddy wood and workmanship that I wouldn't offer any money for one.

OK he's a scammer...trying to tell me its NOT an Antonio Tsai, but played dumb and can't remember the name of the "pro luthier for pro musicians" who is "Well known in certain USA circles to the point where he puts no name or logo to his instruments". Feel free to ask him a few questions about this bass...

That bass IS an Antoniotsai bass.
This ebay page shows a bass of the same type and says as much.
