This is my eastman 305 discovery thread
Remember, eastman is just a name added to the bass, but it does establish a baseline of quality parameters. If it doesn't say eastman, it could still be made in the same factory, but the factory may have been commissioned to build a number of basses at X-cost with x-quality woods for export and then the importer would put their own (or not) label in them. That was what my luthier said. It may be higher grade or lower grade than a branded eastman.
My non-tagged eastman 305 was valued at $3000-$3500
