What brand has all your loyalty?

HARTKE gets my bass rig loyalty card.
And AKG when it comes to mics and cans.
And in the FX world, (oddly!!) it is Line6 which has proven deserving of my approbation.

Jury is still out on basses, tho...

In my experience, Ibanez, of all brands, has been good to me. Out of all the Ibanez basses and guitars I've owned over the years, never had a clunker. Plus the bang for the buck aspect is off the charts.

My commitment lies with trying to be the best musician I can - what I hold in my hands on any given day is irrelevant.

I just never could get on board with the whole cheerleader, fanboi, or choosing a "camp" thing. I get that others might feel compelled to I guess.

More power to them - it just looks way too limiting for my tastes is all.

I've found some very rewarding instruments in virtually every brand I've tried.

You know. It always seems to come down to Fender Jazz. But it has to be a particular J. My mainstay has been 62 reissue for the last 36 years. I did obtain a MIM Standard and modified to my current fretless about 15 years ago.However I am partial to the basic Standard that was put out under that moniker. No active in mine. I like Fender because they’re so easily interchangeable with after market parts.

Mesa Boogie. I owned a Mark IV guitar head and 212 cab and rocked hundreds of shows with it back in my full time days. I have a subway D800 now. Their products and customer service are beyond compare.
